A Filmmaker’s Warning on Global Conflict
Filmmaker, economist, and former Washington D.C. insider James Patrick paints a grim picture of current geopolitical events, arguing that World War III has already begun. In a revealing discussion with host Robert Cibis, Patrick asserts that the world is being pushed into cataclysmic conflicts by disconnected elites and oligarchs who prioritize global control over the interests of everyday citizens.
Patrick characterizes the war in Ukraine as an unwinnable conflict for Kyiv, one that is merely sacrificing Ukrainian lives while serving Western geopolitical aims. He argues that Western powers have been intervening in Ukraine for over a decade, tracing the current escalation back to the 2014 Euromaidan protests. According to Patrick, these events utilized “Gladio-style” false flag tactics—where atrocities and sniper fire were used to manipulate public sympathy and justify overthrowing the government. He warns that supporting this war is fundamentally against European interests, yet politicians blindly continue to fuel it.
One of the most striking revelations in Patrick’s upcoming documentary stems from his interviews with three retired German generals. These military veterans view the aggressive posture toward Russia as a “suicide mission” and argue it contradicts Western Europe’s strategic interests. Both Patrick and Cibis highlight a shocking absence of diplomacy; over the last three years, Western European governments have made zero diplomatic efforts to negotiate with Russia. Instead, nations like Germany have severed access to cheap Russian gas—the very foundation of their industrial economy—resulting in skyrocketing prices and a declining standard of living for their citizens.
The conflict is not limited to Eastern Europe. Patrick points to the Middle East as another volatile theater, noting that Israel is aggressively engaging multiple neighboring countries, including Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. He expresses deep concern that these actions, driven by Messianic and geopolitical ambitions, could easily drag the United States into a direct war with Iran. Because of existing alliances, this could immediately trigger a broader confrontation involving Russia and China.
At the core of these engineered crises is what Patrick views as the cyclical decline of Western civilization, with economic and political power naturally shifting toward Asia. He scathingly describes modern Western leaders as mere “actors” who read scripts and sign thousand-page bills drafted by industry insiders. As public faith in government collapses, Patrick warns that oligarchs are using the chaos of war to usher in a new geopolitical order, prototyping digital IDs and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) as tools for population control.
Despite the bleak geopolitical landscape, Patrick concludes with an urgent plea for personal resilience. He advises people to stay positive and not allow manufactured political divisions to destroy relationships. As societies face intentional destabilization, Patrick insists that maintaining strong bonds with family and friends is the ultimate defense against the madness of global politics.
